Hi Everyone,
Got home Sunday, very sore but thrilled to be home. My surgery last Tuesday was quite successful. The surgeon was able to reverse my colostomy bag, remove a foot of my colon, all 15 lymph nodes and the only speck of anything he saw on my liver. The speck on my liver was a fatty cyst (no big deal) and all 15 lymph nodes were clean as a whistle. He did find a 1/2 centimeter tumor in the foot long section of the colon exactly where my original tumor was. He was able to get great margins.
A year ago when I decided to stop chemo and try alternatives, I never thought any of this was possible. I am so very fortunate, blessed, and lucky!!!!!!!!!!
2006 is already looking good for me. I sincerly hope it does for each of you too.

What excellent news! so thrilled that the spot on your liver was a fatty cyst, and that he was able to get out that littel tumor with clear margins. And that he removed 15 lymph nodes. All great. Now, take it easy and rest up! Walk when you can, but allow yourself time to heal. Love, Tara0

Aggressive ???
When I was dx with colon cancer the Dr. told me that it was an aggresive cancer. On my breast cancer it was Dx as moderate. What does this mean if you are in remission/ned (colon ) or 'cured " (breast )
Congrats scouty and kanga !!!!!!!! wweeeeeee0 -
