skin sensitivity

Has anyone ever had skin suddenly start to feel extra sensitive..almost like a severe sunburn without the heat, after having chemo and radiation? and not necessarily in the areas you were irradiated?? what did you do for it? |

My skin would always get extremely sensitive about 4 days after chemo. It started from my neck and then spread to my arms and back. It usually only lasted for a few days. Unfortunately I could not figure out any way to make it better. I would just try to wear loose clothing and try to stay still as much as possible.
