Hi. Just wanted to start a new post. I don't remember the name of the Chinese herbs - but I will check when I get home. My girlfriend gets them off the internet.

I wanted to tell you, I am NOT taking xeloda with the CPT 11. That has reduced my memory of diarrhea a lot. Maybe that is part of the difference.

I hope your next infusion is going OK. I am thinking of you.

I get an x-ray tomorrow to make sure my lung mass isn't getting any worse - gulp. Send a prayer my way.

be well. jana

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. I really, really hope that the lung mass is not bigger, but is much smaller.

    All the best to you,
    Rodney

    Sweet jana,
I am praying for you and the lung mass!!! soooo sorry!!!! May it be reduced and gone completely! May it just be "an artifact" or something not important!
My second infusion was today--- it was worse still! Began dehydrating and doc wanted me to go to the hosp for IV-- I hesitated-- Hate hosp. he gave me a Rx for Lomotil (atropine) which inhibits the parasympathetic nervous system, and WOW!!! what a difference!!! I still have watery stools but maybe only3 instead of every 20 mins. It also helped with the nausea (even though they pre medicate me with Aloxi and decadron for nausea) Feel much better right now!!

I am praying for you too, Jana. I can't wait to rejoice with you in the good news!!

Jana, I hope that all of your tests come back alot of better. I've been thinking about you, hang in there. We'll be at MD Anderson in November for more tests.
    Take Care
