Can anyone tell me what side effects they are having from this medication?  I'm having the sore joints and it's taking a toll on me.  Anyone have any suggestions rather than ibprophen...thanks

My Treatment is WORKING!!!! Femara has taken my lymph nodes to 1/2 the side that they were.  I wanted to share my good news with everyone...NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!!!  I went 6 months on medication that was not working and just changed to Femara 3 months ago.  I'm going back in Oct. and hoping they are GONE by then.  Yippie!

I've been experiencing joint pain as well after taking Femara for about four months. It seemed to be worse in the beginning. Aleve does a better job than Ibuprofen for me. I also make sure to stay hydrated and exercise every day, which seems to have helped. I think that the side effects are worth putting up with knowing how effective it is against a recurrence.
