Tumors in my lung have increased in size

I have had pancreatic cancer for over 17 months. It was originally in the tail, the duodenum and surrounds the celiac axis. My first treatment was Gemcitabine and Cis-platinum at Kaiser in Walnut Creek. After about nine months of that treatment I switched to UCSF and have been receiving Irinotecan & Taxotere.
My last CT scan showed that my tumor in the pancreas has stayed about the same size, but the tumors in my lung have increased in size. I am going on a chemo break for about six weeks and after that I will start a new protocol.
I am wondering if anyone would have any suggestions or recommendations of new treatments that I am not aware of that might improve my chances. More specifically, I was wondering if anyone has had success with chemo that stopped or slowed down the pancreatic cancer tumors from spreading to the lungs.

Hello,
You may want to go to pancan.org or to johns hopkins sites and propose the questions. They both are involved the pancreatic cancer knowledge and research. I believe there is area in both sites for questions and answers.

There are clinical trials going on and don't know what new one is starting or not. I also use the site:
Veritasmedicine.org

Can plug in the cancer and get up to date information sent out and request cliinical trial stuff.

This is as much as I know as to where to get information.
I hope this helps you with your needs.
