Judy, I'm very concerned about your fever. PLEASE CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!!! When I was on chemo I was told to call about anything over 100 degrees. When you're immuno suppressed things can get out of hand quickly. My brother's mother-in-law ended up hospitalized and wheelchair bound for weeks after her fever shot up--in just one day--it started at normal that morning and by evening she was in the hospital. Please take care of this!!

Thanks rejoyous for your concern. It has went up to almost 102 the last two nights and its 500P here now and it's almost 100 already. I am going to call my urologist in the morning, as I believe it to be a urninary tract infection. I'm not urinating much, even though I'm drinking a lot. I still have to straight cath myself, so I do tend to have a lot more infections. Anyhow, I'm afraid to go ahead and call my doctor, because they'll tell me to go to the emergency room and then they'll admit me, or they'll do like they did the last time and just directly admit me to the hospital. Two reasons this can't happen: I'm sick of spending time in the hospital and also my husband is supposed to get a call about the job he's trying to get tomorrow. So....sometimes, I find it's not too smart, that I think about my husband first, but he has been with me 24 hrs a day for the last 2 yrs and it's time he had some time for himself. Anyhow, I think I will be fine. Thanks for caring though.
    Love and prayers, Judy(grandma047)

They might just give you antibiotics, especially if it's a urinary tract infection. PLEASE DON'T TAKE A CHANCE WITH THIS!!!
