Flu Shot

I wonder if people who had cancer earlier this year can get the flu shot. It seems like every place is running out. Has anyone out there been successful? |

My son is currently undergoing ESHAP in preparation for an allo transplant, and his oncologist gave him a flu shot. So I would imagine they are safe for folks who have had cancer earlier (if you can find anywhere that has the shots available).

I was told that I HAVE to get a flu shot every year from now on. I was lucky. My regular clinic didn't have any trouble vaccinating its regulars. They don't get their flu vaccines from the company that had all the trouble.
