I had fluid around my tissue expanders and had urgent surgery to have them removed. After the surgery, I was told that the expanders had no holes, yet, there was murky fluid around them. There was no infection. After I am healed my physician wants to do a tram flap w/ implants. anyone w/ this experience? should I or shouldn't I?

my fluid was murky and it was an infection but they couldn't find the right antibiotic after 3 different ones- I had the left removed and let it heal up for 4 monthsd. Now I have been thru another expansion and have a permenant saline implant and all is well. I guess if it wasn't an infection then, a flap may be best for you. good Luck- snookums!
