Does anyone have any idea why my daughter still has n/v 5 mo.'s after chemo & 12 wks after radiation? She has a couple small metastatic sarcomas in her lungs which were just found. Does sarcoma itself cause n/v?

    Hi, I am a sarcoma survivor, as well as, worked in Oncology as a Physician Assistant. There were some patients, who would induce N/V by: thinking of their therapy, walking into the clinic, smelling certain odors that were associated with treatment. Because effects of therapy can be so individual, she (how old is she?) should talk to her MD. I had N following radiation which was near my stomach, it lasted well over a year, and was made worse by certain foods. Tumor location can cause N/V...talk to the MDs. Best wishes, hope this helps.
