Has anyone heard of/had experience with the company antigenics?

This company makes oncophage, which is apparantly a personalized cancer vaccine treatment. This has been suggested to my mom by a few people. (she has Stage III, no distant mets, but has had 2 local recurrences.)

Any advice on this versus traditional treatment would be much appreciated.

    vanser -

I have a friend who was doing a clinical trial using a vaccine for melanoma. She reported some good success with it. I was unaware that it was also indicated for colon cancer.

My Mom also had a vaccine for melanoma with success.. She went to a doc in Phili, unfortunately the vaccine is no longer approved.
Let us know what you find out.
