fertility after Hodgkin's

I was diagnosed with HD when I was 12. I am now 32. I received chemo and radiation. I was told that I would probably be infertile. I was on birth control pills since I was 20 and really never thought about my infertility. Last year, my husband and I decided to try to get pregnant. I went off the pill and that month I got pregnant. Easy as that. I am now the mother of a beautiful 5 month old baby girl. You never know how things will work out. |

I am a 47yo male who completed ABVD/RT for HD a year and a half ago. I was told to expect to be infertile. My wife and I are expecting our 1st child, a girl, in 3 weeks. Yes, "you never know." :)

i was diagnosed with HD in 1993 almost 10yrs ago.i was put on birth control pills when i started my chemo,i was told that i may be able to get pregnant,but if i did to expect to have a few miscarriages.it took me 41/2yrs to get pregnant but today i have two beautiful,healthy children,and had NO miscarriages.GOD IS GREAT!
