1 Year Ago today I heard the words, It's Cancer. I was scarred to death, all I wanted to know is if I had to do Chemo or not. I never thought I was the kind of person who would be able to go through with Chemotherapy. but guess what ? Not only did I get through the Chemo and Radiation, but I never even needed to take a day off of work. I called myself the Chemo Queen! If you have been newely diagnosed, I know you are scarred, but you can get through this. Today I am Cancer Free - A Survivor, but we all are surviors just by getting through the diagnosis. Thank you to everyone on this Discussion Board who answered my questions, listened to me ramble and put up with my constant suggestions. Tomorrow is my birthday, what a differance from last year!

Congratulations. Isn't it the best feeling to know that you made it. To find out that the terrible stuff is behind you. To say I'm A Survivor. It's been 1-1/2 years for me. I remember so clearly when I made it to one year mark. I posted here also. I just wanted to shout. You hang in there. It only gets better living our lives as survivors.

    Take care, Linda

It will be 1 year on Feb.12th when I was diagnosed. When I look back on it, the time flew.
    Congrats.
