Here is a link to a new article in JAMA intended for survivors of childhood/adolescent cancers.
The entire article is available on-line and provides a good deal of helpful information. It is also the kind of article you can share with a primary care physician who may not know very much about the late effects of treatment.
Those interested in a further discussion about late effects or other issues important to survivors are always free to contact me. The LTS discussion has over 300 members representing most of the major types of childhood cancer.
