I can't seem to get to the icon for responding to each of you that posted about my panicky feelings...I can't tell you how much it has helped knowing that this is probably a normal reaction to my situation. I do think that 'not doing anything' right now (as opposed to chemo, rad, etc.) has something to do with my feelings. I am trying hard to live each day to it's fullest and working on keeping these fears at bay. Thank you all so much for your help!

    No problem, that's what we're all here for, supporting each other. Glad to hear you are feeling better. May God continue to bless you with peace. (((HUGS))) hummb

    Since January 14, my entire calendar has revolved around test dates, surgeries, lab draws, consultations, Drs appts, chemotherapy, getting medical clearance for procedures, etc. While reading your message, it occurred to me that when all of the treatment related activity ceases, it will probably feel as if my head fell off! Love, Denise

    I finished my radiation May 19, but since then I have seen the medical oncologist, the surgeon, had a mammogram (ouch!) and will see the oncologist again next week and a follow up with the radiation oncologist next month. In the meantime, I must make an appointment with my gynecologist for my routine yearly exam (he found my tumor -- routine -- August 8, 2002). And I should probably get to the dentist fairly soon as well. That said, just because you are not being "treated" doesn't necessarily mean you won't be seeing the doctors! :-}
