Vertiligo

HI...I was diagnosed with Vertiligo...I have a white skin patch on my fore head and it goes into my hair line and the hair on that part turns white too...my doctor told me to protect it from the sun...and it could turn cancerous....I was just wondering if anyone knows about this or if anyone have the same problem that I do...thanks

    My husband was diagnosed with Vertiligo last year. He received a prescription for some cream which he thinks helped. The dermatologist did not suggest follow-ups or anything.
