For anyone interested, the most up-to-date information on chemo. for stage 4 that I have come across can be found at healthtalk.com/coloncancer
I found this helpful, practical and informative. Also, If you are having gut trouble(frequent bowel motions with resultant severe pain and scourging) with the chemo, ask your doctor about Octreotide (Sandostatin). This is fairly new and very effective. Unfortunately it needs to be given by subcutaneous Injection but can be well worth it. I overheard this next. "If it wasn't for the stress, I'd have no energy at all!!" Stay cheerful. Many Blessings to us all. V.C.
