Hi,

My Father had larynx cancer. We initially did radiation and then surgery to totally remove the larynx. He almost completely recovered from it. But now new cancers are showing up in his food pipe. The doctors are saying it is vey serious. They have said surgery may not do good as the weeks or months left for him will be very painful after the surgery. They are currently doing cryo surgery (liquid nitrogen treatment) to slow the growth of the cancer so that he can attend my Brother's marriage, which is coming in the next 3 weeks. After that one option they have suggested is Chemotherapy.

If you know anyone in this type of situation, please share your experience. Also if you can give me any advice/opinion on what options (Surgery, Chemo, Continue Cryo treatment) should we take, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Jay
