Hi. I was diagnosed with follicular thyroid cancer in April 2002. I have had some support from family and friends who have had thyroid cancer, however these people all had the papillary form. Is there anyone out there with the follicular type? Just curious.

I have a variant of both (Papillary/Follicular), I am not sure how common this is, I didn't ask my doctor which one is the dominant cancer. I think the treatment is the same depending on the size of the tumor and what stage the cancer is (has it spead to lymph nodes, is the entire Thyroid being taken out, etc).
