Hi Everyone, I myself am a 4x hodgkins survivor, but my mother-in-law was just diagnosed with kidney/colon cancer. They have suggested 5fu, does anyone know how this works and its side effects. Also, shouldn't they know exactly what and where the cancer is before they try any treatments?
She had a kidney removed and part of her colon. One lymph node had colon cancer and 9 had kidney cancer. They can't tell her if there is any left, does that make sense?
How is Interfuron, Interlukein and Thalidomide veiwed for this? I think she is a stage 4. Any help would be appreciated.
