My friend had ovarian 3a. She is 10 months out of chemo, and looking good. her ca125 has been 8-10 for 8 months. it dropped immediately when chemo started.
She would like her port removed. the doc wants to keep it in. this is demoralizing/ or are we being unrealistic? What have others had done?

I wanted to let you know that my mom had stage IV and she's doing great.. She finished her treatments in July and she's facing the same story. Her doctor wants her to keep her port in too. This concerned her because she wants to know that this is behind her. I understand your concern...
