relay for life

I am going to participate in the relay here in Auburn, CA next month. I had never heard of it before. What can I expect? I am still very emotional about how lucky I have been and (just thinking about it makes me tear up) hope that I can keep my emotions under control. Then again, where else can you allow your feelings to let loose when you are among other survivers who have felt the same feelings and know how you feel!

I've participated in our area's relay the last 2 years - both years have been since my cancer was discovered. Is Relay an emotional experience - most definitely! Much more than that, though, it shows the triumph of the human spirit! You MUST do it - it's one of the most inspirational, positive experiences there is! God bless you and stay well!
