My squamous cell carcinoma in my left sinus was diagnosed in Late February and my surgery was March 13. I begin radiation on May 6 for 6 weeks. My sister has been having to take care of our 82 year old Mum who is in the beginning stages of dementia.
There are simply days when I don't even have the energy to take care of myself and I get angry when she snaps at Mum, who in turn gets confused about the tensions but reacts to them nonetheless.
How can I help my sister to cope so that I don't have to worry about the effects of my illness on her?
