Skin cancer from the breast

I just wanted to know if anyone out there has developed skin cancer at the breast area (after a masectomy) which came from the breast cancer. One of my good friends from my support group has just developed this, and she says it is not melanoma, just skin cancer from the breast. She is receiving chemo now from it being in the lymph nodes in the neck. Can anyone tell me about this from their experience?
Thanks and my prayers are with you all out there. Lucy

Dear Lucy:
There is another name for this type of cancer but I can't remember at the moment. It is a recurrance and can be serious. I have seen pictures on some site I found when looking for inflammatory breast cancer (I don't remember if that is what the 'skin cancer' was called). Hopefully the chemo will clear it right up. She will be in our prayers. God bless you.
Hugs, Brenda
