Meningeal Carcinomatosis??

My wife has meningeal carcinomatosis. I need others to share thier experiences so i know i am not alone here. I trying so hard to hold it together. Researching is keeping me "productive" and focused. It seems like the doctors are trying this and trying that with poor results. She has been through so much with breast thyroid and ovarian cancer over the past 5 years. Now it spread to her spine t12 and into her cerebral spinal fluid around her spine and brain. I would take her place in a second just to spare her anymore pain. But i cant... I can only watch and pray. She is the love of my life, my soul mate my best friend. I am so proud that she picked me to be her husband.

    I just stumbled on your post by chance this morning. I'm afraid I can't offer any advice on the cancer but your story touched me deeply. I have cancer and your final sentence touched something in me and brought tears to my eyes. Your wife is so lucky to have you by her side. I watched my father care for my mother in the later stages of her life and I have never seen such love & tenderness before and after. I really hope you can find comfort in the fact that you have shared a life together with your soul mate. You are lucky to have found each other. Make each day count with her.

    I am also named Tina. It seems to be a popular name on some discussion boards. I am not familiar with your wife's cancer, but I would also like to tell you that I was deeply touched by your last sentence. She is deeply blessed to have you as her husband. You should be proud of yourself for being such a emotional, caring, loving husband! I was a caregiver for my dad who passed away from esophageal cancer in March. I am always on the ec board, liver board, stomach board, caregivers board. So today I tried another board, and I am so happy I did. God bless you and your wife as you yet again start a journey with cancer. May you find peace in the fact that you are not alone, we are all here for you. Caregivers is another wonderful discussion board. Keep doing your research, the more you know, the better. I will be thinking and praying for both of you.
