A new view of strong

Friends of mine sent this to me. It has helped me a lot. I often felt upset or annoyed or simply tired and inadequate when people told me I was strong. Hope this helps you if you feel that way.

A Strong Woman vs A Woman of Strength

A strong woman works out everyday to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings, and capitalizes on them

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

    Thanks ruthelizabeth !!!
I will copy this and keep it close at hand to read often. Thanks for sharing it !!

Someone once mentioned that strength is not determined or shown by somebody who can walk upright with pride during tragedy and adversity, but is exhibited most by the person who has had to crawl on their knees and belly for a very long, arduous, journey and then is able to GET UP.

I think we have all been on our knees at some point during this process.

    Thanks again.

    Hope I'll be able to
I'd like to think that I'll be able to get up if this is ever over.

Beautiful - I love it. I, too, will print it out and I'm going hang it on the bathroom mirror. Thanks so much for sharing!

    Thank you for sharing that
Wow. I needed that. God Bless you. Gonna share that with my friends on facebook. It reminds me of something a dear friend told me years ago: During the times we feel our weakest, are the times we wind up finding out how strong we really can be. Just a thought to ponder.
