hi, my reoccurence was found in sept 02,in my left leg. I live in Darwin, australia ,the hospital here is very behind the times and as a result ,didnt find the tumors untill they had been there for 6mnths to a year.Needless to say i flew straight to sydney where they talked about taking the leg. After the usual tests etc, I was told that it was in my bone marrow and the tumors were in operable.Ive been fighting this desease for 23yrs now, and ive gone through 5 reoccurances, one of them after17yrs.I would have to say that it doesnt get any easier, and the fear is allways there. It is allways in the back of your mind. Eventhough it gets harder ,i will never give up the fight, theres no way i want to die of cancer..phippsj said:0 -
