DX CLL after Hodgkins and Thyroid

Hi All,

I am new to this CLL stuff, I have a history of Hodgkins Lymphoma dx in 1987 -88 then Thyroid in 1997 - 98, now CLL 2014. I am a 40 year old female so a bit young for CLL, and having a really hard time with the wait and see apporach I know it is common not to treat until necessary but I can't seem to stop thinking about the fact I have it and we are doing nothing. The doctor who told me was a cardioolgist and was very laid back about it all, says it is like a man having prostate cancer it likely won't be the cancer that will kill him but a complication of the disease that will, Great!!!! I already have a weakened immune system due to having the spleen removed for the lymphoma,

I really just want to connect with those who have this, and what to expect, I am sure it is different for each person. I am trying to keep a sense of humor about it all especially around those I care about, at least here I can be real and share my fears, and talk to others who get it  and are not worried about what they should say.

Thanks,
