Surgery in the near future!!

Looks like I'll be doing surgery instead. The onc put a hold on the chemo and sent me to see the liver surgeon. The liver surgeon (Dr. Visser) that I saw this afternoon says, no reason I can't have surgery, that this one will be harder then the first surgery on me, because he has to cut sideways and up this time and it's on the right in the back, then he'll pop out the ovaries and we'll worry about the lung later (he's talking radiation?)since it's so small.
First I have to do some tests that he hopes will be done next week and once they are done I will be scheduled for surgery, PET Scan, female ultrasound thingy to look at ovary, blood test and them checking in with my heart doctor. So surgery may be two to three weeks away.

    I am sorry you have to go thru all of this but I am happy they have a plan. Will be thinking and praying for you. Cancer sure interrupts a lot...you will get back to your studies. You can do it!

    So very glad that things are moving forward at a good pace.

    Sounds like a good plan.

    I know last time you had surgery you toughted it out at home pretty much on your own. Since doc is warning you that it will be harder on you this time, I hope you are able to get some help so that when you get home you can make it all about you healing and resting even if for a few days or a week or two.

    Hello Winter Marie,
    A plan is good, fast moving as well, so the faster the healing can get going also.
    One day at a time still works for me.

    I am so glad that you are having surgery. Dont worry about it being bigger. My last surgery was way bigger than the first three. I came through it fine. Just a little longer recovery time.
