update on Dad

Dad started Hospice Tuesday. Last time I posted Dad had developed deminshia. Doctor gave him a patch and his memory came back enough to sign all his on papers and make his own decisions on his care. He is still foggy though and I'm not quite sure he understands everything. I dont know what to expect next. Its real hard to sit and watch him suffer. Daddy never asked how long he had left so we just take one day at a time. Weve had lots of family come to visit which he really seems to enjoy. I will try to post again later this week.

    So Sorry to hear ....
Please know that your dad and your entire family are in our thoughts and prayers! I hope he is painfree and enjoys the family visits.

    {hugs} to you all,

    It is a difficult time
It is a difficult time indeed. Just take it slow and grab hold of every moment. Stay on top of any pain. Call immediately if the pain meds aren't working!

Thinking of you and your dad
Gosh it's hard to find the words to say in this situation. I just want you to know my heart goes out to you and I wish you many cherished moments with your dad. I'm hoping he will be comfortable and without pain surrounded by love.
