"Death be not proud, though some have called thee mighty"
This brings me great pain, as I confessed on the lung cancer forum, Dan. When I saw your post here, I suspected it was for Deb.
Deb was kind, informative, giving and true to herself and others in all things.
Following the links she provided in FB, I would come across some of the wackiest or wildest, or most intellectually stimulating stuff that just this past weekend I wrote to her that even when I didn't like a particular item (a song in this case) her electic choices always opened my mind to new possibilities.
That is what I loved most about her, her obvious intellectual curiousity.
There will definitely be a vacuum in CSN, and in the world.
Take care,

Losing Deb is really hard to accept tonight. She was such a wonderful person and kept fighting right up to the end. No matter how she felt, she always tried to comfort everyone who was going through cancer or going through losing someone they loved. I'll never forget her kind words & will miss her on this board so much. I haven't been going on here too much cause it was really getting to me. but now since I've been having some bad days missing Tom who is gone almost 18 months on the 25th, I decided to check in on everyone again. And getting this bad news tonite, I know I'm not going to sleep very well.
We have to Thank God for people like her. And Joe, you're the greatest too and hope you'll be with us for a long, long time.
Funny how none of us have ever met, but yet we are all attached because of this horrible disease that many of you are battling or for us who have lost someone.
Take care everyone & never give up your fight. "Carole"0
