Is it true that you should have your implants replaced every 5 or 10 years?
I saw on the world news the other night that one should have their implants replaced every 5, or, at the latest 10 years due to a possible leakage or rupture from them. Is this right? I didn't know you would have to do this. And if you do, will your insurance still pay for it? Just wondered if that is what the pink sisters…

I saw my medical oncologist and my general surgeon today for check-ups. With no prompting, my oncologist told me she could safely say I was "CURED". Later my surgeon told me I had "No Evidence of Disease". This is the first time either has used these terms and I have to say it felt GREAT!! I am off the Femara and will…

How many of us are there with Stage IV Metastatic Cancer and when was it diagnosed?
I am really interested to know how many of us have stage IV and when they were diagnosed and where it has spread. I know of some of us and so far it seems many are doing pretty well. I am hoping this will give us more encouragement. I was diagnosed 9/2010, in my bones and skin. As always, thinking and praying for all of…

Scared to death of Taxotere - need some success stories
I've had 4 AC treatments and one Taxol. I didn't have an immediate allergic reaction to Taxol but two days later I was in the hospital for 2 weeks with a temperature and "ground glass opacity" showing on a CT scan. It was a delayed allergic reaction. I've been off of everything for a month. The "ground glass opacity" is…

Funny thing about hair loss.
I always had long, very thick beautiful hair. Until chemo that is. I think losing my hair was the hardest part of my journey. I was very self conscious, never going without at least a scarf. Then one day my 2 grandsons(age 2&3) pulled off my wig and played rockstar with it! I laughed so hard I forgot I was bald. Eventually…

They had a cancellation...yay for me. I hope the news is good, or at least tolerable. I guess the benign kidney stones are acting up, and I wish this low-grade fever would just go away. Any prayers are welcomed. Thanks, Carol

Hi everyone. I'm new in here. No, I don't have breast cancer. But I did test positive for the BRAC gene. I watched my mom suffer through breast cancer 3 times and she passed away January 7, 2011. At 47 years old. I have had 2 aunts, my grandma, and great grandma also have it, everyone multiple times. It is a horrible…
