Small trick for getting your blood taken
I'm a chicken when it comes to needles. And it seems they always poke me twice. Here is a simple trick to getting it the first time and not hurting. Surgery was end of October, strong thru recovery after bilateral mastectomy nd doing reconstruction.

Pink Bus needed for Wednesday 1-14
I don't normally request the bus but I really need it this Wednesday for my onco appt.. Staying healthy while on chemo
I am starting my chemo this week. Does anyone know if vitamins help at all to stay healthy. i know I should avoid being around sick people. But if my kids have colds or something what do I do besides handwashing and Lysol and not being right in their faces. Just wandering if anyone has some advice. mary

i had a mastectomy in nov 2014. i have only seen my surgeon and primary doctors so far. the surgeon said he got all of the cancer and that i would not need chemo or radiation. he has not refered me to an oncologist. shouldn't i see an oncologist at least once ?
