Fallen Warrior Remembered
Today I lost a very dear friend to cancer. She died this morning at the hospital with family and friends at her bedside. Her name was ZENA and she was EXCEPTIONAL! She was loved by doctors, nurses, and patients alike! I met her at the chemo clinic and was automatically drawn to her unfaltering, sunny disposition. Back in…

Tough
I heard this song for the first time yesterday, when Mark & Brian (local LA morning DJ's) were reading a list of "Songs That Make Men Cry" Although this song wasn't on the official list, Mark brought it up because his wife went through treatment for BC about 3 years ago, and they played it. And yes, it made me cry - FAIR…

A great BIG THANK YOU ... WARRIORS - Sisters in PINK .. From Vicki Sam
Things went smoothly .. except that I forgot my paperwork at home, health history - allergies etc. Slapped another one together right before entering my pre=op room. My surgerial room #8, same one my PS uses and I've frequented all 8 times - was crowded with all your Warrior's -- hardly seemed fair that my PS and staff had…

This afternoon I learned that a woman I met in person for the first time last month had died (not from bc). While people die every day she was special to me. I work with her daughter and last year when I mentioned that I was diagnosed with bc she told me that her mom had it over 25 years ago. I learned more about all this…

Considering nips after tram-flap
I had tram-flap recon. last December. I still feel very tight at times in the scar lines. I tend to form keolords and my thinking is that I don't want to do the nipples until my new boobies have settled more or less permanantly. My ps tell me he'll even them up (one is a little bigger and higher on my chest than the other,…

Good afternoon! This is the second time I'm typing this. For some reason, I was kicked off the site the last time. Anyway, I'll try one more time.
