Surgery on July 28
I just had surgery on Tuesday July 28th. I had a bilateral left side simple, right side modified radical. Came home on Thursday. I did not have reconstruction as I am going with what I have left. Only two shots of morphine in the hospital and I was sent home with Lorcet, but only had three of those. Yesterday afternoon and…

For Pammy
Hi, Pammy. My reply to your guesses about "what number series' 6th number is 13?" is buried in the weekend plans posts, so I thought I'd repost it here for you: Pammy likes puzzles Maybe I should have called it a "series," not a "sequence." Have you ever heard of Fibonacci? He discovered this series: 1,2,3,5,8,13....Can…

Hi Sisters, I have added a photo to my expressions page. It is a photo I took of my daughter the day after my first chemo. I wanted to share the story with you. It was a local children's marathon. My daughter was not yet 5, although since she was nearing the age of 5, my Mom had inadvertently registered her in the 5 year…

So I had my second infusion of Herceptin yesterday am. I threw up and had chills DURING my first infusion (which was with my main chemotherapy) but seemed to only have standard chemo side effects like nausea, fatigue, sore mouth after the fact. Well during this second infusion of Herceptin I got a fever. Last night, I was…

I hope it was at least non-fat !!!!
I forgot to tell you something which I THINK will make my sisters in pink laugh~ all things considered. Not that I am breast obsessed or anything!! ( much!) So, as it is terribly hot here in my California Valley, and I am in a Jazzercise class with 20+ women in a too small room, yesterday I liberally doused myself with…

Day 9 of Pammy's Rads
TGIF!! I actually had a few minutes to sit down today and low & behold there was another woman in the waiting room. She was buried behind a newspaper and all I could see was her hat sticking out over the top. I sat there admiring her hat. It was rather stylish and wide brimmed and I would have like to had one like it for…
