reoccurence fear
How do you cope with the fear of the cancer returning? There seems to be lots of conflicting info. My doctors have told me that after my bilateral mastectomy, it's like only 1-2 percent likely, but research at the National Cancer Institute puts it more like 10-20 percent. My doctors told me it would come back as a lump…

Sexual Healing????
At the Relay for Life last weekend, a woman was relating her cancer experiences and she told the crowd that she is The Princess at home. Only now, she said, instead of her husband kissing her backside, he now has to wipe it! We all laughed, of course, but later on, it did make me think... Since cancer, we have this…

Liver mets test results
Dr. called today-spots on my liver are too small to biopsy w/o doing major surgery. (less than 1mm) So he has decided to wait 3 months do another scan-if nothing changes we'll scan again in another 3 months-if it does change he will do the biopsy no matter what. I feel this is a good sign at this point-he is very cautious…

Body Image
I am almost 6 years out from diagnosis, and am doing great. But somedays it's weird to look in the mirror. I had implant reconstruction and am very happy with it, but I'm very self- conscious with all the new low V neck tops that are in fashion. I work with a guy who is always looking at my chest when I'm talking to him…

HAS ANYONE HAD LEG MUSCLE CRAMPING TAKING FEMARA ?
I have been on Femara since March, and I am noticing that when I walk my calf muscles cramp pretty badly. They stop when I sit down. I do have claudication in my legs, but it has not been a problem. I am going to onc this month and will discuss this issue. I think I want a doppler test done again. Has anyone else ever had…
