Does the radiation site matters significantly for stage I breast cancer in MA?
Hello, I can choose between Mount Auburn and Beth Israel Medical Center for radiation therapy? I wonder if the type of linear accelerator makes a significant difference that would justify the inconvenience of travelling further. Mount Auburn is 20 minutes from my work. Thanks! Best wishes for everyone! We got this! :)

Puffy area on breast which has changed the shape of my breast
I had a DCIS lumpectomy and radiation a little under 3 years ago. Recently, the part of my breast close to the lumpectomy scar and part of the scar itself got very red and warm and painfully sore when touched or when I reached for something. That lasted for several days but is nearly gone now. This caused me to notice that…

So when you go to the herceptin sites it does not say it is chemo or not. It just talks about it being a targeted therapy or an additional therapy or adjunct therapy. Residuals from lumpectomy and radiation
I had a DCIS lumpectomy followed by radiation in the summer of 2014 and have had pretty much smooth sailing, up until a few days ago. I'm wondering if anyone else has had an experience like mine. A few days ago, the scar area and surrounding area became an angry red, sore and warm to the touch. It really hurt when I…

How do you style this fluff on the top
Prior to the journey through hell, my hair was shoulder length, straight as a stick, and solid white. My hair has come back black and white. Not even. Sides are straight, the top is a big poof ball and very course. I call it the duck's behind. The back is curly. What do I do with it? Most times, I just look crazy. Help!

Nipple sparing mastectomy
I had a nipple sparing mastectomy done four weeks ago. My left breast doesn't seem to be healing as quickly as the right. I have expanders under the muscle of both breasts and no longer have drainage tubes. Everything else is healing well but the soreness on the left side of my left breast concerns me. Any thoughts?
