Has anyone had a failed reconstruction surgery?
Just wondering if anyone has tried reconstruction again after a failed attempt? Everytime I think I may be ready to try again, I change my mind and decide it is not worth the risk and the chance of another failed surgery. My first attempt was a DIEP flap procedure which was a 11 hour surgery and the only other procedure I…

OT Warm Fuzzies
Danny and I have really been churning out the blankets again. The new infusion center has beautiful windows and was rather warm this summer. But now it's getting cooler. We just donated 2 dozen and have about 20 more when they finish handing those out. I still really get a big kick out of it. And, forgive my chemo brain,…

Need a few extra prayers.....
My Dad passed away on Monday morning the 17th. He was 85 but suffered from COPD. Way to many years of smoking. I thought after the first cry I would be fine. Well tomorrow I have to fly to Michigan from Calif. and tend to the funeral. It is a long and sad story and don't need to go into it all. But it would help to know…

A little laugh.....
I know this has probably been around a while but I needed a laugh when my friend sent it. Hopes it helps some of you. 1. She was in the bathroom, putting on her makeup, under the watchful eyes of her young granddaughter, as she'd done many times before. After she applied her lipstick and started to leave, the little one…
