Radiated skin/ reconstruction
Hello beautiful sisters, A friend of mine is going through tissue expander reconstruction and is having trouble with her radiated side not stretching. I was curious to hear your stories, does the elasticity in the skin eventually stretch through a gradual process, or will there come a point when it will only go so far and…

Femara side effects

Started on another antibiotic this week Levaquin for Bronchitis. I was talking to my son and told him I was a little hesitant because of all the side effects. He looked at me and said... "are you kidding me?" I thought he was reacting to the side effects I had just read him. He started laughing and said, "Mom, you just…

Different Chemo
Hi Everybody, As some of you know, I had to go off cytoxon/taxotere because I kept getting pneumonia. My doc put me on hormone therapy - Anastrazole. It may be shrinking the tumor but, if it is, it's really slow. So last week I asked him to put me on another chemo and I would take steroids as soon as I felt any serious…

Bump(s) in the Road
Radiation is finished but I am flat-out exhausted and still burned -- the severity ebbs and flows. I anticipate that this will be over soon. Meanwhile, I saw my new MO yesterday and learned that back in April when I had a CT for my shattered humerus (I was in such a pain-and-pain-killer fog at the time I don't even…

Implant has herniated - Needs to be replaced
Hello to the Pink Ladies & Gentlemen, I had my tissue expander replaced with a saline implant on 6/13/11. He basically said that is the way it is going to be and there is nothing I…

Has anyone had their oncologist offer fewer chemo treatments?
Has anyone had their doc offer fewer chemo treatments? I am scheduled for 4 and finished 3 (yay) but with bad side effects. Doctor said that I could only do 3 if I want - is this normal? I was borderline for chemo anyway - lump was only slightly invasive and no node infiltration, so the doc said there was a chance I didn't…
