Getting OCD about my hair already, checked my pillow lol!! Will see how the rest of the day goes. At least it is cooler out. I waited until…

This is turning out to be harder then I thought it would be. DUH!
I am cancer free. Post bilateral mastectomy on 7/23 and I am presently undergoing reconstruction (I joked with my husband that I should wear a Tee shirt with a traffic cone on it). I go back to work in two weeks. Home with the kids now. No structure although I am trying to get back some routines (exercise in the morning,…

Day 15 of Pammy's Rads
Don't know what happened today, but I was teary eyed all day. Just going through an emotional rough spot that just didn't want to leave me. My tech pretty much realized I was not myself and I don't think she was buying my act. It actually was somewhat awkward because she has never seen me like that. I know she was…

skin problems after reconstruction
Like many others on this board, I had DCIS in my right breast. I had a lumpectomy in April, but three of the margins were positive, so I had a second lumpectomy in early May. This time ALL the margins were positive, and some showed a lot of DCIS. So I had a skin saving mastectomy and reconstruction on June 23rd. They also…

Well girls the fun never ends. Went for my checkup with my surgeon and I have developed a big lump just above my mastectomy site and have to have a CT scan today. The doctor doesn't think it's fluid or blood build up, he says it feels like bone. Said it was very unusual and he didn't know what it was. Hopefully I find out…
