Freaking out about the port! Help
Hey guys! My sister had a port inserted today and she thinks she may have two one above her rt.nipple and the other in the standard clavicle area. She's waiting to feel a little less groggy to call her doctor and ask "what the hey" is going on, since she wasn't expecting two. I'm not there I can't see what she's talking…

Areola changes colors and I feel it when it does - Anyone else?
Hi! I posted this before, but, wanted to see if anyone else was having this happen and if you had it happen, is it still? I had a lumpectomy and I had radiation treatments also. My plastic surgeon made a small half moon incision next to my aerola to remove my tumor. It isn't on my aerola, but, next to it. Every now and…

I feel lost now - I miss going to rads:(
I was so excited and happy to be done with rads, but now, I feel kind of lost. Like what do I do now? Don't get me wrong, I have a great marriage, a great life, but, I was so into the routine of getting zapped everyday and loving the tech's and the people in the lobby. They became like my 2nd family. So, now what do I do?…

Chemo side effects - how sudden?
Hoping some of you can give me some guidance here... I will start chemo (Cytoxan/Taxotere) next week. My oncologist is astoundingly confident and reassuring that I'll tolerate it well and be able to keep working, which I intend to do. I have a sedate desk job, but my office is an hour's bus ride from home. I'm finding my…

Revised 60 hits

Herman's Hermits --- Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Walker. Ringo Starr --- I Get By With a Little Help From Depends. The Bee Gees -- - How Can You…

Some Rad questions....
Hmmmm....I was just wondering. I noticed some people started using lotions from day one and some (Like me) was told that when you start to turn red (in about 2 weeks) we will give you all the lotions you need. How many think it is more benefical to use them in the beginning? I was also wondering....they told me do not…

Unexpected Funk
I'm having a moment. It's not heading in a good direction. I'm scheduled for chemo and a MUGA tomorrow. It's a 1 1/2 hour drive there and home. It will be my 3rd in this series of weekly for 12 weeks, and for the first time, I don't want to go. It's different than dreading it. I mean, I really don't want to go. My mind is…

Rash on head
Wondering if anyone has had a problem with a rash on your head? My hair is almost all gone but I have not shaved it so it looks kind of like a baby's head with just a few strands of hair over it. How much more?
Sorry to be sounding so miserable, but I spent all day in emergency being poked, prodded and ultra-sounded. After my onco visit last week i found a tender bruised feeling area in my top rib below the affected area. Of course I ignored it and put it down to a new bra. Yesterday I noticed it had spread to 5 ribs. Then last…

New Dx last week
Hi to all I first have to say I am so happy to have found a positive discussion board I have "lurked" on other sites and have found them to be not as positive. I don't know his condition right now, am waiting for a phone call, but his wife & kids spent the night at the hospital. Needless to say, I'm very worried... CR
