I'm Scared and desparate for answers. My Mom has Breast Cancer.
I don't know what to do, who to talk to, or what to expect. We found out on New Year's Eve day that my Mom has breast cancer. They removed two tumors that showed up on the mammogram and while in there they found another that didn't show up. The results came back that the 3rd tumor is also cancer. She went back to the…

Taxol for Node Negative?
Hi, everyone. I'm looking for some feedback here. I just got through 4 cycles of A/C [horrible]. My oncologist at Sloan Kettering is also recommending that I do 4 Taxol just for "extra insurance." She says this because although I had negative nodes [confirmed through SNB and follow up pathology testing], she says that the…

Metastasis to liver
What are the symptoms of liver metastasis? I have had an intermittent pain under my rib cage on my right for about a month. Its the kind of pain that if you hadn't had cancer, you'd ignore. I keep feeling like a hypochonriac. 6 weeks ago the doctor said my tumor marker was somewhat high. It hasn't gotten higher, so she's…

Anyone on Aredia?
I'm a 24 year survivor. But I did have a reoccurance of my breast cancer to the bone about 5 years ago; and at that point I started taking "Aredia" once a month to prevent the bone destruction caused by cancer. My very first dose gave me flue-like symtoms, and bone pain, but after that I was fine. I've been on it for over…

My Husband Said I Caused My Cancer
Because my mother and grandmother both died from breast cancer, I've had mammograms since I was 30. I felt that it was likely that I would also get cancer, but with the mammograms and doctor's visits, I thought I could catch it early. Well, I despite the mammos & dr. visits, I didn't catch it early. It was a 2.7 cm. tumor…
