LASER EXCISION CONE OF CERVIX
Anyone ever have this done? My 27 year-old daugther will probably be having this procedure done soon for cervical displaysia (CIN III). I've posted before, but to recap she is at high risk for cervical cancer. I sent her to my gyn/onc for a second opinion, as the first doctor wanted to do a different procedure with much…

UPDATE ON BREAST CANCER
Hi, Ladies: This is what I posted on the Breast Cancer forum. Just wondered what you think, as I know some of you have had this double whammy also (OVCA & BC): Well, 18 is just 1 point above the 'low' mark, and into the mid-range. As I was told earlier, this is 'up for discussion' as to whether or not I should do chemo. To…

A question
What is the scoop on taxotere? I'll have my first infusion January 8. What can I expect? Having the port put in December 30. Not the way I thought I'd be starting 2014 but I'll deal with it as I have the other two times, taking a cue from the courage and grace shown by you, my sisters. Karen

Apparently this is one in a series, and it is make a point. Unfortunately I think the readers are talking more about the "cancers you don't care about" vs. the cancer itself. In any event, this was sent to me and I thought you ladies might like it.…

I'm curious how often you typically have your CA 125 checked while in active treatment. When should I expect his next test? Before each treatment, or…

I'M BACK!
Well, surgery for the breast cancer went well. The mass and 2 lymph nodes were removed. Pathology should be back by next week. Minimal discomfort - just some stiffness in the area. The real 'pain' was the reaction to the anesthetic and all the meds. I did not handle it well, so they decided to keep me overnight, for which…
