Melt down
My numbers keep dropping so they gave a neupogen shot again to try to "jump start" my system. I am so disappointed. I can't get my port out because my ANC is below 500, at one point it got to 1810. I can't go home until I get the port out. It's a vicious circle of getting nowhere. I had a melt down today and actually cried…

Just frustrated these days. Met with Dr yesterday. My numbers are slow to recover and it ticks me off...they were doing so well. Port, picc line, or IV?
When i did my chemo the tumour in chest was to big to get a port. i could either wait until the tumour shrunk from chemo, then get it put in but i chose not to. I chose to get an IV and have the chemo pump directly into my veins. Im just curious to see what everyone else did and if they'd choose it again. Thanks, Ian

How does chemo cause weak legs?
Hi, Many people have commented about weak legs caused by chemo but I haven't found what is actually occurring to make the legs weak. I finished 7 r-chop treatments for NHL in October 2010. My guess to the weakness problem is nerve damage since my feet are still pretty numb. It doesn't make sense to me that my legs are…
