Hi! I need some advice from those who have "been there". In 2017 during a ct scan for something else they found a tumor on my left kidney (on the bottom). At that time is was 0.5 x 0.6 x 0.5 cm. I was placed on active surveillance with alternating u/s and ct scans every six months. My last ct was the end of October 2018…

A little over a year ago I was told I have cancer. My life was flipped upside down. It’s been a long and hard year. Tumors shrinking, nothing new and…

NED for me too!
Happy to report that my scan this week was clear. It was a little scary for awhile as my doctor noticed some nodules in the lung scan. The radiologist confirmed they were calcified and had been there for a couple of years, so that was a huge relief. Now i'm good for another 6 months!!

Pathology is in...... sort of.
Just got some fantastic news! Thanks to a bad signal, I missed the docs call with the pathology report from my partial neph last week but he did send an accompanying email message. He said the results are good. There were not many details on the message as I’m sure he wants to go over them with me but he said the results…

Uncle NED!!
Uncle NED just stopped by. Boy was I glad to see him!!!! I still asked about my pain and the Dr referred me to my PCP as it might be linked to my daily activities. Next scan will be in one year. Now I’ve got to get back on my diet and lose the weight I have gained back since my surgery.

Moved up annual scans
All of a sudden a few weeks ago when I would lay on my right side, as I’m a side sleeper I would have a pain. Nothing severe just enough to get my attention. It doesn’t hurt any other time and I can go about my daily routine not feeling a thing. I decided to move up my scans with a different Dr to get a fresh set of eyes.…
