Nausea already??
Day two of the chemo pump (5FU) and I am puking already? Is this normal? The docs and nurses told me I probably wouldn't see any adverse symptoms for a couple of weeks. And I am one who rarely gets nausea for any reason, so this sucks. I have Compazine, and it helped some last night. I don't want to be a whiner, just…

Weird anniversary
One year ago today I was suddenly hospitalized and ultimately diagnosed with cancer. I'm feeling sort of weird today, because I'm remembering the last day I had before cancer entered my life. But things are good! *hugs* Gail

should I be worried?
I just got a phone call from my "regular" doctor. She called me at 9.15 p.m. of course I'm thinking there is some kind of emergency. She says that she is "concerned" about my white blood cell count and wants me to immediately get some more blood work done. I've been out of Chemo since October 2006 and just had my 6 month…

Where do you get hope when the doctors are so unwilling to give any.
My father has been fighting stage 4 colon cancer for a year now. The most important thing in his everyday life is attitude ... and that little bit of hope. ... yet the oncologist is VERY unwilling to give even the smallest support in that area. Where do you find the will to fight if the doctor tells you it's useless anyhow…
