My grandmother has breast cancer that has spread to many parts in her body. She will start chemo on Friday and the name of the drug is TAXOTERE. iF anyone has been on this please contact me so I can let my grandmother know what to expect. lymphedema...increases with Rads?

Newbie here! I had a mastectomy two weeks ago today, and I still need my pain medicine(hydrocodone)-one pill every four hours. Is this normal? I tried extra strength tylenol and it didn't help? How long were you on pain meds? What is too long?
