Pet Therapy
I would just like to say that I am thankful for my dogs who stayed by my side when I couldn't do anything else but just rest at home after my surgeries. I could tell them all about my worries and they just stayed by my side and listened to me! I see that many of you have animals in your pics . . . did they also help you…

Nutritional Choices - help!
I am confused. Depending upon what website you look at or who you talk to, there does not seem to be any consistent, accurate information about proper food choices once we have been diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. Can anyone lend some accurate information? Milk/Dairy ... good or bad? Gluten free ... necessary? No…

I need some foundation garment recommendations...
Supportive camisoles for my remaining 'girl' for use while undergoing radiation? I get that I don't want anything constricting and absolutely no underwire, but I am in dire need of some support for my remaining breast. After my mastectomy, and due to the placement of my drains, I was unable to buttress the old girl up. I…

when you were little, what did you want to be?
Something made me think of this, but when i was little, i wanted to be a go-go dancer! I swear! I grew up in the 60's and it was the rage! I would put on my sisters white lipstick and white go-go boots and dance, lucky you-tube wasn't around then! Of course, now I am shy about dancing. But, anyway, i was thinking about…

Help, is bulging under arms normal?
I just took my 1st shower. My husband took the post-op bra off me and removed the bandages covering where the drains had been pulled. Everything looks ok considering I had bilateral mastectomies 11 days ago. What does concern me is the bulging at the end of each incision just above where the drains were removed. Is this…

just need a little push to get me through the end of chemo
Hi sisters (and the occasional brother)! I am so close to being done with my chemo treatments, my last one is July 15th. I was thinking as I got closer to the end that I would be in a better frame of mind. I have been so cranky and weepy, plus the side effects are getting worse toward the end. I know I am so close but am…
