I had my sentinel node biopsy, wire localization, and lumpectomy today. WOW did it hurt when they put the dye in. It didn't hurt for long, just when the needle went in. I had my lumpectomy on Monday and got the call from the doctor today - DANCING WITH NED!!!! I was told that there is no evidence of cancer in the breast tissue or in the 12 lymph nodes they took out - yay for me!!! I think I got a dog for all the wrong reasons. I wanted something to love and cuddle when I was feeling blue and tired. But now that my energy levels are coming back, I want my freedom.
