Question about esophageal stent
Has anyone had problems with their stent plugging? He has had it happen twice now. After some time and a fizzy drink it came unclogged. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone. Thanks Nancy

Just had the Ivor Lewis Surgery - Question
I had the surgery on 6/7 and just got out this past Wednesday. I am doing pretty well but have this pain in my ribs up under my right armpit that at times is a 5-6 on the pain scale. Dad did great through treatment, now that we are home he has a high fever with no cause!
So my dad went through treatment well. We came home Thursday, and Sunday he developed a fever of 102.5. Had good news today and wanted to share!
We saw the surgeon today and hubby IS a surgical canidate! Such great news. He continues to improve from the recent bump we hit with the pheumonia and clots. We have to work on getting him stronger and build muscle mass. He is to weak for surgery at this time, but we will get there. Just wanted to share. Take care Nancy
