Elevated WBC anyone experienced prior to diagnosis?
I was wondering if high WBC values are of anything to worry about. The nurse who gave me the results stated you must have been fightiing of an infection our response was am I fighting an infection each time... WBC values have been 11, 18, 13 basically ranging all over 11-18... Thank you

Day #1 off 100mg Prednisone
Well folks....Sue warned me....Day #1 off the 100mg of prednisone and I fell asleep in a box at work...lol....Thats right, sat down to rest for a minute and literally fell into the box and fell asleep. Happy New Birthday Dad!!!
My dad was admitted to City of Hope on his birthday last year April 11, 2012. He had his stem cell transplant on April 18. Today his doctor called today to say he is still in remission. Praise the Lord!!! He had stage 4 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. I hope this encourage's anyone going threw this right now.
